In Nicaragua, a teacher has to be paid this month so kids with no birth certificate have somewhere to learn. In El Salvador, the water and lights at a children's home have to stay on this month. In Kenya, families who count on their local church for food and school materials need them again this month.

These aren't programs we invented from far away. They're local leaders who have been doing this work for years. We stand behind them every month.
Many kids in Nicaragua are shut out of public school because they were born outside a hospital and have no legal citizenship. On paper, they don't exist. Education Plus takes them in anyway.
The school now serves about 300 students across 28 classes, with a growing pre-K program, a community library, and daily meals. At the end of every grading period, the top student in each class walks up to receive a certificate and a bag of school supplies. Kids who were told they don't count get to hear their name called.

Kids in El Salvador grow up around gang recruitment, violence, and neglect. For a child without a stable family, there's often nowhere safe to go. Casa Hogar started as an orphanage for children in crisis. Today it's becoming a real home and a place to learn.
Their program is called Sendas de Esperanza, or Paths of Hope. It includes an after-school homework club, one-on-one reading help for kids who started school late, a group just for teenagers so they have somewhere to belong besides the street, and medical insurance so a fever never turns into a crisis.

In rural Kenya, families face real gaps in food, schooling, and basic services. Valiant Life has partnered with Iglesia Peniel Spring, a local church network that serves remote communities with steady care.
Each month, the partnership supplies food, nutrition, and school materials to families in need, and supports several churches that reach isolated villages. Together, we're also in the early stages of planning a community center that can serve kids and families for years to come.
